Located in rural Manitoba at the intersection of Highways 16, 42 and 21 is the bustling community of Shoal Lake. Allen’s Machine Works first opened for business in Shoal Lake in the summer of 1993 offering the surrounding mostly- agricultural based communities a general and specialty welding and machining center. Manufacturing of specialty parts / pieces for equipment or agriculture machinery is also available.

Brent Allen expanded this family operated business in 2003 to include Steel Art Silhouettes. Brent has always had a flare for the creative side and the purchase of some new equipment allowed him to use it for both his general machine shop, but also to create fabulous works of art.

Steel Art is ideal for any occasion: decorative wall hangings, personalized yard / farm signs, tailgates, weather vanes or other unique gift ideas. The options are endless…………..There is very little to no maintenance on steel art, and it lasts forever.

Choose from one of our many pre- developed designs, or share an idea and we’ll work with you to design your own unique creation. We can also create unique designs from your personal photographs and drawings (art charges apply).
